This was the test system.
Select Edit | Preferences
On the General tab, note the Enable Double-Byte Inline
Input option.
On the Fonts/Encoding tab, select Japanese fonts for
the Japanese Fonts Settings.
Change the Page Properties of your HTML page to your desired Japanese encoding.
